Assurance Software - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

March 17, 2020 8:00:00 AM EDT

As Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to spread and has now been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, we wanted to let our customers know of how we are responding to this evolving situation, and to let you know how we will continue to provide the same level of service and support to you.

Much like all of your organizations, our principle focus is to look after our people and their families, to play our part in supporting the local communities in which we operate, and, in addition, to recognize the importance of our services in supporting your business at this time of need.

Our Continuity Program

Assurance Software is following our internal Business Continuity Program, including a Pandemic Plan, in response to the spread of COVID-19 around the world.  We review this Program at least annually, as a part of significant change or in response to emerging threats, and perform exercises throughout the year for different scenarios including workforce outage.

Ensuring Continuity of Operations

Our business is currently operating as normal.

We have flexible work options, robust technology and committed supply chain partners, which delivers a capability that will allow us to work virtually and still maintain the same level of support and service to our community. At this time we are continuing to monitor the situation and do not see any impacts in our ability to support our customers as we have always done.

Specific Actions We're Taking

COVID-19 Pandemic Working Group - We have activated a COVID-19 Pandemic Working Group to provide our organization with leadership, guidance, and communications on the virus and its impact.  The group meets regularly to monitor and review developments and recommendations from various health agencies, including the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Public Health Service.

Social Distancing and Remote Work - In accordance with recommendations from government agencies and health organizations, we have decided to ask our teams to work remotely until further notice in order to keep them and their families safe and healthy. We have all the necessary tools in place to maintain the same levels of support and service to our customers, partners, and the market.
